AND EVENT CALENDAR

EVERY WEEK

Participants earn points throughout the competition in the following ways: 
Participate in / win weekly contests: 
     Submit your weekly contest entry in one of these ways: 
          Team Fitness Challenge Facebook timeline (preferred method)
          Email to tiftonfitness@yahoo.com
          Bring it in  
Lose weight: earn 4 points for each percent of weight lost
Attend weigh in: earn 1 point just for weighing in
     Weigh in on Tuesdays between 7:00am and 8:00pm.
      You can always weigh in early for the week (Monday or even earlier). 
      If you weigh in on Wednesday or later, it will count on the next week.
Keep food and exercise logs: show us your written (or electronic) log each weigh in day. 
     Earn 1/2 point per log. Use any format you wish as long as you are tracking your food and exercise.
     Apps such as My Fitness Pal, Lose It, and Fit Bit are acceptable. Bring your phone to weigh in. 
     Forms are available to pick up from TF&WC or dowload and print here
     You must bring your logs at the same time you weigh in.

To receive points, you must make your submission during the correct week and by the deadline.

WEEK 1: 01/08-01/16/2018

What’s in a Name  
"Thinning the Herd" won three points for the best team name. 
All teams were named & awarded one point for submitting the name by the deadline.   


1 point was awarded to each individual that weighed in. 
1/2 point was awarded to each individual that showed us an exercise log.
1/2 point was awarded to each individual that showed us a diet log.
3 points were given for each percent of weight lost (total % lost to date x 3).

Something to Say  
Ayanna with Calorie Counters won three points for winning the 
Something to Say contest. 
Each contestant that submitted an entry earned one point. 


1 point was awarded to each individual that weighed in.
1/2 point was awarded to each individual that showed us an exercise log.
1/2 point was awarded to each individual that showed us a diet log.
3 points were given for each percent of weight lost.

NOTE: Percentage points are always calculated from initial to current weigh in. These are recalculated each week - not stacked on top of points from the previous week.  Also, if you have gained weight since the initial weigh in, this is counted as 0. There won't be "negative" points.

For Better Naked Tomorrows won three points for winning 
the group photo contest. 
Each contestant that was in his/her group photo earned one point.

Relay for Life Luminaria  
Earn 1 point for purchasing a $10 Relay for Life Luminaria. 
One point maximum per contestant.

WEEK 7: 02/21-02/27/2018

Sweetheart Run
                                          Proceeds from the 21st Annual Sweetheart Run on February 24, 2018 
                                          benefited the Pink Cup Foundation, an organization dedicated to 
                                          providing financial support for medical services for individuals in the 
                                          Tift area that have been diagnosed with breast cancer. 
                                          Three points were awarded to each individual that completed either 
                                          the 5K or 1-Mile. If you participated, make sure your name in on the list! 


                                           ​1 point was awarded to each individual that weighed in 02/27/2018.
                                           1/2 point was awarded to each individual that showed us an exercise log.
                                           1/2 point was awarded to each individual that showed us a diet log.
